Selection Process for Haryana Police Constable Recruitment 2024
In accordance with the updated recruitment guidelines for Haryana Police Constable Recruitment 2024, candidates numbering ten times the vacancies will undergo the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). These tests will serve as qualifying criteria without any marks awarded. Subsequently, a written exam will be conducted consisting of 100 questions, carrying a total of 94.5 marks.
Candidates will also receive 2.5 marks for socio-economic criteria and 3 marks for possessing an NCC certificate. The selection process for Haryana Police Constable Recruitment 2023 comprises the following stages:

Haryana Police Constable Exam Pattern and Syllabus
The Haryana Staff Selection Commission will shortlist candidates, equal to four times the number of advertised posts for each category, among those who have qualified for the Physical Measurement Test and Physical Screening Test, to further appear in the Knowledge Test. The detailed procedure of the test is outlined as follows:
(a) The knowledge test will carry a weightage of ninety-four point five percent (94.5%) and will comprise objective type multiple-choice questions, each carrying equal marks.
(b) The examination medium will be bilingual, i.e., Hindi/English, except where the knowledge of Hindi/English language is to be tested.
(c) The test paper will cover topics including General Studies, General Science, Current Affairs, General Reasoning, Mental Aptitude, Numerical Ability, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, and other relevant fields/trades. Additionally, there will be at least 10% questions related to basic knowledge of computers and at least 20% questions related to basic knowledge about Haryana. The standard of questions will align with the expectations of an educated individual who has passed the 10+2 examination for the Constable post and graduated for the Sub-Inspector post.
(d) To be eligible for selection against a general category post, a candidate must secure a minimum of 50% marks (excluding socio-economic criteria weightage) in the Knowledge Test. In the case of consideration for a reserved category post (whether vertical or horizontal), the candidate will receive a concession of 10%, making the minimum cut-off for such candidates 40% (excluding socio-economic criteria weightage).
